It is an awesome game, and is not that bad in terms of realism. It lets you fight with individual tanks and helos and such. One more quickie....the Harpoon Classic Demo includes a scenario where you defend Iceland against a Soviet air and naval assault, and one where you have to stop Soviet subs from entering the GIUK gap (the sea between Greenland, Iceland, UK). They are tons of fun!

Anyway, to your post....regarding paintball, I would encourage you to also take a look at airsoft. But that all depends on what you plan on doing. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8590507.post-1123692434920178142005-08-10T11:47:00.000-05:002005-08-10T11:47:00.000-05:00Just involuntarily re-worked my system...was runni...Just involuntarily re-worked my system...was running 98 and had some serious core programming issues that I could not fix and thought I had a corrupted HD.
stats:
-2ghz atahalon
-upped ram from 128 to 2x256 ddr2700 (tot512) for $40 bucks
-found a steal on 160 gig hard drive for $40 (after $80 rebate), so now I have 260 gig of hd space
-moved to win 2k pro free from my tech guy at the office, which also fixed the windows problems

noticing a huge performance difference now, and I'm digging firefox at this point, but it isnt' perfect

I'd love to upgrade to xp pro, but really don't see the benefit in the $200 tag to do itPossumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14504016157618889567noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8590507.post-1123638650862122232005-08-09T20:50:00.000-05:002005-08-09T20:50:00.000-05:00All the computer stuff went way over my head, but ...All the computer stuff went way over my head, but I still like your blog! :<) Yeah, I totally want to go paintballing too!Polka Dotted Pickleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15748841391941632337noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8590507.post-1123636001645870382005-08-09T20:06:00.000-05:002005-08-09T20:06:00.000-05:00Hi Travis!I've got a* 731 MHz Intel Pentium III* 3...Hi Travis!

I've got a

* 731 MHz Intel Pentium III
* 320 MB of RAM
* 3dfx Voodoo3
* S3 ViRGE DX/GX
* Yamaha DP-U50
* Dell 17" Flat Panel
* CD Burner
* Windows XP (Home :( )

You'll notice I've got two video cards, that's because I'm set up with two monitors.
